Derek Plumb, a former APS employee with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, is accused of embezzling more than $100,000 from a vulnerable adult and four counts of forging a document affecting real property. The charges stem from Plumb’s alleged monthslong scheme to defraud three elderly women and transfer the deeds of their homes to himself.
