A pair of twin brothers was arrested on Tuesday and charged with making “terroristic threats” after threatening to kill a top Trump official and threatening to “shoot ICE on sight.”
In a Tuesday press release, the Department of Homeland Security announced that a pair of twins from Absecon, New Jersey, identified as Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores and Emilio Roman-Flores, made threats Monday on social media to kill Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin and to “shoot ICE on sight.” Following the threats, the Department of Homeland Security and the Absecon Police Department SWAT team executed a search and arrest warrant for the twin brothers.
According to Fox News, the arrest of the twin brothers comes after one of the brothers allegedly tweeted a message in response to McLaughlin, saying, “[The Second] Amendment is in place for moments like this. Shoot ICE on sight.”
The first brother added, “We Americans should find you, tar you, feather you, and hang you as we did to anyone serving tyrants before the Revolutionary War.”

Fox News reported that the second brother also issued a threat against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials in a partially redacted tweet, which read, “Shoot ICE on sight.”
The Department of Homeland Security confirmed that Emilio Roman-Flores faces charges of conspiracy terroristic threats, criminal coercion, cyber harassment, threats, possession of an assault weapon, and possession of prohibited weapons. Meanwhile, Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores faces charges of conspiracy terroristic threats.
According to the Department of Homeland Security’s press release, both brothers are American citizens and are currently in the custody of the Absecon Police Department.
“Let this be a warning to anyone who dares threaten or attack our brave law enforcement officers,” Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons stated. “We will find you, we will arrest you, and we will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. We are NOT afraid of you.”
“The extreme rhetoric of the news media, sanctuary politicians, and activists is leading directly to our law enforcement officers facing an 8,000% increase in death threats against them,” Lyons added. “If you threaten our law enforcement or DHS officials, we will hunt you down and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
